With eight versatile guest rooms - a combination of doubles/twins, tripes and quads - the chalet offers flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups, comfortably accommodating up to 20 guests.

Living & Dining Rooms
Expansive open-plan lounge provides space for all to relax. Dual dining areas - Western and Japanese - ensure all guests can enjoy shared meals in a homely setting.

Bathrooms & Ofuro
Five bedrooms feature ensuites, while others share well-appointed facilities. All guests have access to our traditional ofuro-style Japanese baths for the ultimate après-ski soak.

Kitchen
Fully equipped for self-catering, the modern kitchen features high-quality appliances and ample space, making communal cooking easy and enjoyable.

Fireplace
The natural stone hearth occupies the heart of the main lounge, creating a warm, inviting, social hub - perfect for some downtime after a day on the slopes.

Is the entire chalet available as one private unit?
Yes. Myoko Forest Chalet is rented exclusively as a whole-home private rental.
Can I book directly on the website?
Yes! Direct booking gives you the best rates with no OTA fees.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out subject to availability.
Do you provide towels, bedding and toiletries?
Yes, fresh linen, towels and basic toiletries are provided.
How far is the chalet from the nearest ski lifts?
Akakura Kanko Ski Resort lifts are just 5 minutes’ drive away. Akakura Onsen, Ikenotaira and Suginohara are also close by.
Is there WiFi and heating?
Yes, high-speed WiFi and excellent heating with a wood-burning fireplace.
How many guests can the chalet accommodate?
The chalet has 8 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 20 guests.

House Rules
1. Maximum Occupancy – The chalet is rented as a private whole-home for a maximum of 20 guests (including children and infants). Only guests listed on the booking are permitted to stay overnight.
2. Check-in/out – Check-in: from 3:00 PM. Check-out: by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability – please enquire.
3. Quiet Hours & Respect for Neighbours – Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
4. No Parties or Events – Parties, gatherings, weddings, or large functions are strictly prohibited.
5. Smoking & Vaping – Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the chalet. Smoking is allowed only in the designated outdoor area. A ¥50,000 deep-cleaning fee will apply if smoking occurs indoors.
6. Shoes & Cleanliness – Please remove outdoor shoes at the entrance and help keep the chalet clean and tidy.
7. Kitchen & Appliances – Please clean up after every meal and do not leave dirty dishes overnight.
8. Ski & Outdoor Gear – Use the dedicated drying room for your ski and snowboard gear. Please do not take your gear into the living and bedroom areas.
9. Hot Tub / Ofuro – Please shower before use. No glass or food near the hot tub. Children must be supervised at all times.
10. Fire Safety – Never leave any fire unattended. No candles or open flames in bedrooms.
11. Damage & Security – You are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Lock doors and windows when leaving the chalet.
12. Waste & Recycling – Please follow local recycling rules and take out garbage on check-out day.
13. Departure – Please leave the chalet tidy, wash dishes, and return keys to the designated spot.
